Elon Musk's Starlink plans to put tens of thousands of small satellites into earth's low orbit so to provide global satellite internet. Besides many ethical and economic questions, this project, if it would come to realisation, would visually pollute the night skies for decades to come. Instead of seeing the stars, one will see grid of bright dots moving in the dark.
